Testimonials and Students work
Here is just a little snippet of what my Students are saying about the Workshops. Featuring some of their gorgeous Artworks.
“Susan is not only an amazing artist but most definitely a powerful healer. It had been almost 20 years since I last picked up a paint brush and I was scared that I wouldn’t be good enough, but all my fears were immediately blown away like a feather as soon as I met Susan.
In fact, one of the first things she said was: “Intuitive painting has no rules, there is no wrong way and everyone is an artist.” I felt my shoulders sag with relief and knew I was finally in the nurturing, supportive, creative environment I had always wished for. Susan held such a safe space that I was able to feel free and *let go* which is something I normally find hard to do.
Taking part in Susan’s Serendipity Workshop was a truly healing experience for me…I feel like she gave me back a piece of my soul and I am eternally grateful for her wonderful support and encouragement. If only every art teacher in the world were like Susan!! I highly recommend Susan’s Serendipity Workshop to anyone who wants to get in touch with their intuitive self…it is a truly beautiful and grounding experience.”
“I can honestly say Susan that day was life changing for me, as I work in Psychology and help heal people all day long, having the experience of healing myself was both liberating and inspiring, not to mention I discovered my creative side was pretty close to the surface the whole time, I have you to thank for that. I have shared my story with my fellow practitioners and colleagues, they have decided to use my story in their therapy to help others. You are an angel.”
“I love Susan’s Workshops!! I’ve completed a number of them and now and always enjoy every minute! There’s always something new to learn. I love Susan’s use of colour and free expression. Each piece of artwork is unique.”
“If you want to paint, go do a Serendipity workshop with the amazingly talented Susan Farrell Art. We were at the workshop from 9 till after 5 and the day just flew. An awesome day where we learnt to trust ourselves and use a variety of techniques to just let go and create. We could not be happier. Thank you Susan!”

“Dear Susan, Your art workshops and classes are so helpful and insightful. Your teaching abilities easily inspire me take a journey to the highest level of my creative expression. You are supportive and always offer good advice to expand my ideas and imagination. Your artwork is amazing and very beautiful – what I would call “A unique perspective.” Thank you!”
“Thank you for opening the door to another avenue of creativity to explore and have fun!”
“There is no one else quite like you Susan! Love working in the Serendipity style, and some very special people will be getting a very special Christmas present this year, once I have painted them! Love you heaps, and I am so grateful for all you have taught me.”
“Thank you so much, I have waited at least 20 years to do my own piece of art and now its happened. Since the Gawler workshop I did another painting and I shared the experience with my daughter. To you I am very grateful!”
“Thanks everyone, very humbled by the lovely feedback. A huge thank you to Susan for sharing her wisdom. I have a feeling someone has let a genie out of a bottle I might not be able to put back.”
“I found a profound sense of peace and inspiration in Susan’s Serendipity workshop. I am not a particularly ‘arty’ person but found Susan’s energy and ideas positively contagious. I loved my session so much I am doing more
– I have caught the creativity bug from Susan!
I am very glad I met you Susan – you are a very inspiring person.”
“I first came across Susan’s work in a local art show and was immediately drawn in. What a lovely surprise to find out that she was also running workshops! I have always had an interest in drawing and painting but between work and raising children there never seemed to be enough time to explore those interests. Susan’s workshops were ideal for me to get over the first threshold, picking up a brush again, but also to regain creative freedom and sense of colour and composition. In particular the Serendipity workshop helped me to get a clear idea of what kind of artist I am and of how to express that on the canvas. Though Susan’s classes are taught in a group setting she makes sure that there is ample individual attention. I highly recommend her classes to anyone interested in getting creative.”
