Dream Catcher Art Workshop-Mornington

March 4, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

| $195.00
Dream

Just recently I was drawn to painting and researching Dream Catchers. I have always
admired them but never really knew much about them. Then, as per usual, when I am
being called to paint something, I started seeing them everywhere.

I discovered that they originated in North America from the Ojibwe Native Americans.
Sometimes they are also referred to as Sacred Hoops. The Ojibwe belief was that they
were a talisman to protect sleeping people, especially children from bad dreams. They
believed that the night was filled with dreams, some good and some bad. The good
dreams slide down the feathers to the sleeper below while bad dreams are caught in
the net and destroyed in the light of day.

I have found this so captivating, and I think painting your own Dream Catcher is
a wonderful creative journey to discover. As I usually do in my intuitive workshops,
I will guide you in the techniques which will make each Dream Catcher totally unique to
you. At the end of the workshop you will take home your own beautiful Dream Catcher
painting.

You do not need any prior painting experience to do this workshop.
This is the second time I have run the workshop. Last time the girls went home with
some gorgeous paintings. See below.

Students provide their own materials/canvas
A Kit can be provided for $130. BYO Canvas. Size is up to you.
