Sacred Space Workshops

This workshop was the first one in a series that I have created called “Sacred Space” Workshops. I have discovered
that most of the intuitive techniques I teach are holistic and not just about painting. They are also a wonderful
way to connect to our inner selves and enhance our creativity, which brings balance back into our lives.

I have sold many of my pieces to Healing Practitioners and I know lots of my Students are Healers and hang
their own paintings in their Sacred Space. And of course you don’t have to be a healer to have a Sacred Space.
These workshops are designed around this concept, so that everyone can create their own Healing piece or pieces.

So I started the series off with my own favourite deity, The Goddess. Since then I have taught the technique
here in Mornington and at the Fitzroy venue. The Students did some amazing paintings!!

The Goddess

What does the term Goddess actually mean? Well I suppose it is the epitome of what we, as Women would
aspire to………to be your best possible self.

This is a quote that I discovered on the internet which I love.

What is a Goddess?

“A Woman who is in the process of learning to know, accept and love herself on all levels, Mind, Body and Spirit.
A woman who, because she focuses on personal growth and self awareness, experiences a life, increasingly filled
with peace, love, joy passion and fun. A woman that understands that she has unlimited capacity to make her life
anything she wants. A woman who is inspired to give to those around her because of her sense of gratitude and
abundance.”

There are many Goddess deities that you might admire. My favourite is Kwan Yin, the Chinese Goddess of compassion.
There is also Isis the Egyptian Goddess, Lakshmi the Hindu Goddess, Venus the Goddess of Love and many more. I am
sure you must feel a connection to one of them.

Of course you don’t really have to choose a particular Goddess. This is about the Goddess within you. In this workshop
we will listen to a meditation that will tap into your own

“Inner Goddess” There may be dancing 🙂

About the Workshop

I have designed a stencil of a Goddess face, which you can see in the image below. This stencil will be available for you
all to use in the Workshop. I also have created some special Goddess style word stencils just for this workshop. These
stencils are exclusive to The Goddess Workshop and won’t be available for sale.

You can bring your own images if you would like. I can show you how to trace an image of your Goddess or you could
bring a picture of her and glaze her onto your canvas. You just have to make sure that the image is the right size. Of
course you can also draw your own Goddess if you would like.
