Susan Farrell Biography
Susan Farrell is an artist/teacher living in Rye on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. She paints intuitively. As a child she spent many hours outside in mother nature, spellbound by its beauty, purity and magic. This childlike wonder and passion for birds, animals and nature has stayed with Susan, and it is expressed through her artwork. She loves bright colours and lots of drips and flicks. Each piece incorporating her extra special touch of Magic!
She has painted her whole life. Developing her skills over the years through attending numerous art workshops in all types of mediums. She has developed her own style of abstract backgrounds with more realistic subjects. A selection of her bird images have been licensed by Koala Publishing as greeting cards and sold all over Australia. Susan has also done the Artwork for a Wisdom card set called “Animal Voices” . Published through Blue Angel Publishing.
Her beautiful artworks can be found not only in Australian collections but all over the world as well. Most of her originals can be purchased as Art Prints. She also occasionally enters her work into the local Art Shows on the Peninsula.
Susan has been on her own personal self-discovery, and has completed her Reiki 2 Level. She is true believer that meditation is fundamental part of life and incorporates it in to her intuitive painting regime. She has written several meditations herself, which she shares in her workshops.
She teaches weekly classes and weekend workshops in Mornington and has also just opened her new Art Studio in Rye. Susan is also the Creator of the Serendipity/Intuitive Workshops, The Chakra Tree Of Life Workshops and Beyond The Veil Workshops. She has now developed all three of these techniques as e-courses. So her international fans can also learn online.
Her belief is that everyone is creative and given the chance and the tools to play, they can paint their own piece of magic. Susan has been kept very busy teaching her Classes and Workshops. Not only in her local studios in Mornington and Rye, but travelling to private locations, regionally and Interstate. She also hosts the Gaia Lotus Bali Art Retreats. Susan and her husband Jack, are lucky enough to live in the gorgeous seaside town of Rye, Victoria, Australia, with their menagerie of animals. When she is not teaching or painting she spends time in her garden, walking her dog, and enjoying catching up with her family when they come down to visit. Her philosophy is to be grateful for being given the chance to make a career out of her painting passion and to inspire others and make people smile.
