Blue Wren Mini

Art Workshop

Creativity brings healing and balance

I love painting Blue Wrens. They are one of my favourite subjects to paint. And I must say every time I finish a Wren painting it sells very quickly. So I guess you all love them as well?

I have decided to offer a workshop featuring them and using a small canvas, so we can create mini paintings which will fit in that perfect spot.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

NOW SOLD OUT

We will commence by creating bright abstract backgrounds. Lots of paint play and drips and flicks makes the backdrop more interesting without trying to look “real”. Even using some pretty stencils?

You can choose what type of Wren you would like to paint and bring along some images to either be inspired by or to transfer onto your canvas.

Also think about what Flower you would like to feature in your painting? Try to choose something nice and big with lots of colour. Things like waratahs and other Australian Flowers.

We will be painting on a small canvas. 30cm x 30cm or similar. Try to keep to this size as this is a One day Mini Workshop and a bigger canvas may not get done in our timeframe.

MATERIALS

A Materials List will be sent out once you have registered. This workshop does require good quality tube paint.
